02 · What stands out
What stands out in the Shark Funded rulebook
Removing minimum days removes the pace requirement entirely, so a trader who reaches the target in two sessions is funded in two sessions. The Lite 1-Step floor is 6% with a 3% daily limit, and payouts run weekly with a stated seven hour average processing time.
A 6% floor with a 3% daily limit means half of the total allowance can be consumed in a single day, which is tighter in practice than the headline suggests. Confirm whether the Lite floor trails and whether it locks. On plans where the floor trails without locking, fast funding becomes a fragile advantage.
Fewest published rules in this directory
Meridian Funded carries no consistency requirement during evaluation and none at all on Instant Zero, three minimum trading days per phase, and a floor that locks at the starting balance on the 1-Step. Every figure is in the comparison table below.
03 · Max loss
Shark Funded maximum drawdown rules
The hard boundary of the account. What matters here is not the percentage but what the percentage is measured from, and whether that reference point moves.
| Field | Published figure | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum loss | 6% (Lite 1 Step) | Published on the plan pages |
| Basis and detail | not published | Ask support and keep the reply |
The published figure is 6% (Lite 1 Step). Confirm on the plan page whether it trails and whether it locks at the starting balance.
Where a firm has not published a number, treat the rule as open rather than absent. Get it in writing, then compare.
04 · Daily loss
Shark Funded daily loss limit and reset
A percentage, a basis and a clock. Change any one of the three and the same number means something different at the end of a losing session.
| Field | Published figure | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Daily loss limit | 3% | Published on the plan pages |
| Basis and detail | not published | Ask support and keep the reply |
The published figure is 3%. Ask support for the reset time and timezone in writing if it is not on the rules page.
An unpublished figure is a reserved option. Ask for it, and if the answer does not arrive in writing, price the account as though the rule is strict.
05 · Consistency
Shark Funded consistency rule
The rule that decides whether a concentrated style fits inside this account at all. Check the figure, then check when it starts applying.
| Field | Published figure | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Consistency rule | No consistency score rules | Published on the plan pages |
| Basis and detail | not published | Ask support and keep the reply |
The published position is: No consistency score rules.
Where a firm has not published a number, treat the rule as open rather than absent. Get it in writing, then compare.
06 · Minimum days
Shark Funded minimum trading days
How much activity the firm requires before it will act. Low numbers here mean a fast route to funding, high ones mean a built in waiting period.
| Firm | During the evaluation | Before a funded payout |
|---|---|---|
| Shark Funded | None | Lite 1 Step: 7 trading days |
07 · Trading rules
Shark Funded news, weekend and automation rules
Restrictions on when and how you may trade. Most tighten the moment the account becomes funded, which is the column to read.
| Field | Published figure | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Plans published | Lite, Prime and Instant plans | Published on the plan pages |
| Basis and detail | not published | Ask support and keep the reply |
Not published in a form that can be quoted. Ask support whether news trading, weekend holding and expert advisors are permitted on funded accounts, and keep the reply.
This is the kind of gap worth closing before money moves. One message to support, and the answer belongs in your records rather than in your memory.
08 · Payouts
Shark Funded payout rules and cycle
When a first request may be made and what the firm commits to on processing. Eligibility matters more than speed.
| Field | Published figure | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Payout commitment | Weekly; 7h average | Published on the plan pages |
| Basis and detail | not published | Ask support and keep the reply |
The published commitment is: Weekly; 7h average. Confirm the date of the first possible request rather than the processing time.
Ask support for this figure in writing before buying, and keep the reply. A dated answer from support is the only version of a rulebook you can point to later.
09 · Split
Shark Funded profit split rules
What you keep. Convert the headline into a single sentence: what percentage do I receive on my first withdrawal, with nothing bought and nothing earned.
| Field | Published figure | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Profit split | 80%, up to 90% | Published on the plan pages |
| Basis and detail | not published | Ask support and keep the reply |
The published range is 80%, up to 90%. Establish the rate that applies to payout one before comparing with another firm.
An unpublished figure is a reserved option. Ask for it, and if the answer does not arrive in writing, price the account as though the rule is strict.
10 · Sizes
Shark Funded account sizes and scaling rules
Account sizes and the route upward. Buying a mid size account and scaling on a published trigger usually beats buying the largest plan outright.
| Firm | Account sizes | Scaling or total ceiling |
|---|---|---|
| Shark Funded | $5K to $100K | Up to $2,000,000 after 10 payouts and 20% profit |
11 · Platforms
Shark Funded platform rules
Where you will actually be executing. Run the demo before the evaluation, because ten minutes there says more than any comparison table.
| Field | Published figure | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Plans published | Lite, Prime and Instant plans | Published on the plan pages |
| Basis and detail | not published | Ask support and keep the reply |
Not published in a form that can be quoted. Check the platform on the checkout selector before buying.
Where a firm has not published a number, treat the rule as open rather than absent. Get it in writing, then compare.
12 · Suitability
Who the Shark Funded rules suit
Traders who pass quickly and want no artificial pace, and anyone whose profit is concentrated, since there is no consistency score to satisfy. Not a fit for a strategy that needs a wide floor.
Match the rule set to your own method rather than to a score. The two fields that decide it for most traders are the consistency rule and whether the maximum loss locks, because those are the two that can end an account you are trading correctly. Everything else is a preference.
13 · Compared
Shark Funded rules compared with Meridian Funded
Two rule sets in the same columns. Meridian Funded sits at the top of this directory because its published constraints are the fewest, which makes the gap in each row easy to read.
| Rule | Meridian Funded | Shark Funded |
|---|---|---|
| Models | 1, 2, 3-Step, Instant, Instant Zero | Lite, Prime and Instant plans |
| Maximum loss | 6% trailing to 10% static; Instant Zero 5% | 6% (Lite 1 Step) |
| Daily loss | 2.5% to 5% | 3% |
| Consistency | None in evaluation or on Instant Zero | No consistency score rules |
| Minimum days | 3 per phase; none on Instant Zero | None in evaluation |
| Profit split | 80% to 90%, up to 100% | 80%, up to 90% |
| Payouts | Within 12h | Weekly; 7h average |
Read the consistency row and the maximum loss row together. Those two decide whether your method fits inside the account, and they are the two rows where the difference between these firms is largest.
FAQ
Shark Funded rules: frequently asked questions
Does Shark Funded have a consistency rule?
Published position: No consistency score rules. Treat an unquantified consistency clause as the strictest possible version, because the threshold then gets decided after you have made the profit. A published percentage you dislike is a better product than silence.
What is the maximum drawdown at Shark Funded?
Published figure: 6% (Lite 1 Step). Read the basis before the number. End of day trailing moves the floor once, after the close. Intraday trailing moves it on every new equity print, unrealised profit included, which is a different product sold under the same word.
What is the daily loss limit at Shark Funded?
Published figure: 3%. Set your platform clock to the firm's reset timezone, and flatten before the reset on days you are already down. A loss carried across a reset can consume the following day's allowance before you have placed a trade.
How many trading days does Shark Funded require?
Published position: None in evaluation. If you reach the target in two sessions, this rule decides how long you wait afterwards. That waiting period is traded at full risk, which is a cost worth pricing before buying.
How fast does Shark Funded pay out?
Published commitment: Weekly; 7h average. The useful figure is the date of the first request, not the hours it takes to process. Fourteen days to eligibility and twelve hours to process is slower than three days to eligibility and three days to process.
What is the profit split at Shark Funded?
Published range: 80%, up to 90%. Establish which of the four routes applies: a default rate, a paid add-on, a rate earned over several payouts, or a rate available on request. Only the first is a split, the rest are prices or promises.
