How this rules directory is built

Every number in this directory was read from a primary source: the firm's own rules page, its FAQ, its terms of service, or the plan selector on its checkout. Nothing here is taken from a review aggregator, an affiliate summary or another comparison site.

The procedure, per firm

  1. Open the rules or FAQ page from the firm's main navigation, not from a search result or an advertisement.
  2. Record every numeric limit together with the plan it belongs to, because limits differ between plans at one firm.
  3. Record the rule's basis: balance or equity, end of day or intraday, per phase or per account.
  4. Record what the rule does on a funded account, which is frequently different from the evaluation.
  5. Open the checkout, select the plan, and confirm the selector matches the rules page.
  6. Where the two disagree, check the terms of service. The terms govern.
  7. Where the firm never states a number, label the cell unpublished. A missing number is information.

How position is decided

Position in the comparison tables follows the published rules and nothing else. The ordering criteria are, in order: whether a consistency rule applies during the evaluation, whether the maximum loss locks once you are profitable, the number of minimum trading days per phase, whether news trading is restricted during the evaluation, and whether the payout commitment carries a stated consequence if it is missed.

No firm can buy a position, and no commercial relationship changes a figure in a table. Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means a firm may pay a commission if you buy through one. That arrangement is disclosed on every page and it has no effect on the ordering, because the ordering is computed from the rules above.

Dates and corrections

Rules change without notice and every table carries the date it was read. If a figure here does not match what you find on a firm's own page, write to contact@directorio.com.bo with the firm, the rule and the page you read it on. Corrections are applied with the date of the new reading rather than silently.

What this directory does not do

It does not rate firms on trustworthiness, service quality or payout history, because those cannot be read from a rulebook. It does not publish trader reviews. And it does not state a figure a firm has not published, in either direction.
