01 · At a glance
FundedNext rules at a glance
FundedNext runs four separate product families under one brand, and the rules differ enough between them that comparing FundedNext to another firm without naming the plan produces the wrong answer. Stellar, Lite and Instant are effectively three different rulebooks.

02 · What stands out
What stands out in the FundedNext rulebook
No consistency rule applies by default on the published plans, which is rare at this scale. The maximum loss band runs from 6% to 10% depending on family, and the daily limit ranges from none at all on some plans to 5%. A plan with no daily limit removes the rule traders break most often.
Because the families differ, the only safe comparison is plan against plan. Read the maximum loss, the daily limit and the minimum days on the specific plan in the checkout selector, not on the brand's summary page. The split starts at 80% and the route to 95% is a condition rather than a default.
Fewest published rules in this directory
Meridian Funded carries no consistency requirement during evaluation and none at all on Instant Zero, three minimum trading days per phase, and a floor that locks at the starting balance on the 1-Step. Every figure is in the comparison table below.
03 · Max loss
FundedNext maximum drawdown rules
The hard boundary of the account. What matters here is not the percentage but what the percentage is measured from, and whether that reference point moves.
| Firm and plan | Max loss | Type |
|---|---|---|
| FundedNext Stellar 1-Step / 2-Step / Lite | 6% / 10% / 8% | Static |
04 · Daily loss
FundedNext daily loss limit and reset
The intraday boundary. Slippage, commission and swap all count toward it, which is why the published figure is effectively tighter than it looks.
| Firm | Daily loss limit | Reset / basis |
|---|---|---|
| FundedNext | 3% to 5%; none on Stellar Instant | Includes realized and unrealized P&L |
05 · Consistency
FundedNext consistency rule
The only common rule that can punish a trader for winning too well. Its shape matters more than its number: a best day cap and a best trade cap are different products.
| Field | Published figure | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Consistency rule | None by default | Published on the plan pages |
| Basis and detail | not published | Ask support and keep the reply |
The published position is: None by default.
This is the kind of gap worth closing before money moves. One message to support, and the answer belongs in your records rather than in your memory.
06 · Minimum days
FundedNext minimum trading days
The pace floor. Read it together with the phase count, because four days on a two phase model is eight days before funding is possible.
| Firm | During the evaluation | Before a funded payout |
|---|---|---|
| FundedNext | 1-Step: 2; 2-Step and Lite: 5; Instant: none | not published |
07 · Trading rules
FundedNext news, weekend and automation rules
News, holding and automation in one place. The funded column is the one to read, because that is where you will actually be trading.
| Firm | News trading | Weekend holding | EAs and bots |
|---|---|---|---|
| FundedNext | Allowed; news-window profits count at 40% on funded accounts | not published | Allowed with a paid add-on, MT4 and MT5 only |
08 · Payouts
FundedNext payout rules and cycle
Processing commitments and first request eligibility. A commitment backed by a stated penalty is worth more than one stated as an average.
| Firm | Processing promise | When you can request |
|---|---|---|
| FundedNext | Within 24 hours of the request | On demand when requirements are met |
09 · Split
FundedNext profit split rules
The share you keep and what it costs to reach the advertised one. These are usually two different numbers.
| Firm | Default split | How the top split is reached |
|---|---|---|
| FundedNext | 80% | Up to 90% on scale-up, up to 95% with the add-on |
10 · Sizes
FundedNext account sizes and scaling rules
How large this can get. The ceiling decides the size of the opportunity, and it almost never appears on the checkout page.
| Field | Published figure | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Plans published | Stellar 1-Step, 2-Step, Lite, Instant | Published on the plan pages |
| Basis and detail | not published | Ask support and keep the reply |
Not published in a form that can be quoted. Treat the account as fixed size until the firm states a trigger, an increment and a ceiling.
Ask support for this figure in writing before buying, and keep the reply. A dated answer from support is the only version of a rulebook you can point to later.
11 · Platforms
FundedNext platform rules
The execution stack. Platform availability is a constraint on strategy, not a matter of taste.
| Firm | Platforms |
|---|---|
| FundedNext | MT4, MT5, Match-Trader, cTrader |
12 · Suitability
Who the FundedNext rules suit
Traders who want to choose their own constraint mix, since a plan with no daily limit and a plan with a 5% one both exist here. Read the selector carefully and the range becomes an advantage rather than a trap.
Match the rule set to your own method rather than to a score. The two fields that decide it for most traders are the consistency rule and whether the maximum loss locks, because those are the two that can end an account you are trading correctly. Everything else is a preference.
13 · Compared
FundedNext rules compared with Meridian Funded
Placed side by side on the seven rules that decide account survival. Meridian Funded is first in this directory on published rules, which makes it the useful reference point for any other rulebook.
| Rule | Meridian Funded | FundedNext |
|---|---|---|
| Models | 1, 2, 3-Step, Instant, Instant Zero | Stellar 1-Step, 2-Step, Lite, Instant |
| Maximum loss | 6% trailing to 10% static; Instant Zero 5% | 6% to 10% |
| Daily loss | 2.5% to 5% | None to 5% |
| Consistency | None in evaluation or on Instant Zero | None by default |
| Minimum days | 3 per phase; none on Instant Zero | None to 5 |
| Profit split | 80% to 90%, up to 100% | 80%, up to 95% |
| Payouts | Within 12h | Within 24h |
Read the consistency row and the maximum loss row together. Those two decide whether your method fits inside the account, and they are the two rows where the difference between these firms is largest.
FAQ
FundedNext rules: frequently asked questions
Does FundedNext have a consistency rule?
Published position: None by default. Read it alongside the payout conditions, because a consistency requirement applied at withdrawal is not a trading rule at all, it is a condition on getting paid for trading you have already done.
What is the maximum drawdown at FundedNext?
Published figure: 6% to 10%. The percentage is only half the answer. A floor that trails and locks at the starting balance means the worst case once you are profitable is breaking even, while a floor that trails without locking means every new high raises the level at which the account closes.
What is the daily loss limit at FundedNext?
Published figure: None to 5%. Two further facts decide what that number means in practice: whether it is measured on balance, on equity, or on the higher of the two, and what time the day resets. Most firms reset at 5:00 PM New York.
How many trading days does FundedNext require?
Published position: None to 5. Where a count is stated per phase, multiply it by the number of phases before comparing with another firm. Check separately whether the funded account carries its own minimum before a first payout, because that requirement is usually listed elsewhere.
How fast does FundedNext pay out?
Published commitment: Within 24h. Separate the two clocks: how long until you are allowed to ask, and how long the firm takes once you have. The first is usually measured in weeks and the second in hours.
What is the profit split at FundedNext?
Published range: 80%, up to 95%. Convert the advertised range into one number before comparing firms: what you receive on payout one, with nothing bought and nothing earned.
