02 · What stands out
What stands out in the Maven Trading rulebook
The consistency rule is 50% and applies over $5,000 of profit, which is a threshold rather than a blanket condition. Below that level it does not constrain you at all, and 50% is the loosest common shape of the rule. Floors run 3% to 8% with daily limits of 2% to 4%.
Those floors are tight. A 3% maximum loss with a 2% daily limit means one bad day is most of the account, and position sizing has to be built around that rather than around the strategy. The split is 80% flat, with payouts every ten business days.
The shortest rule set in this index
No consistency rule in evaluation, none at all on Instant Zero, a 1-Step floor that stops following you once it reaches the starting balance, and a twelve hour payout commitment with a stated penalty if it is missed.
03 · Max loss
Maven Trading maximum drawdown rules
The total loss the account can absorb. Everything else in a rulebook is a detail next to this line and the basis printed beside it.
| Field | Published figure | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum loss | 3% to 8% | Published on the plan pages |
| Basis and detail | not published | Ask support and keep the reply |
The published figure is 3% to 8%. Confirm on the plan page whether it trails and whether it locks at the starting balance.
Ask support for this figure in writing before buying, and keep the reply. A dated answer from support is the only version of a rulebook you can point to later.
04 · Daily loss
Maven Trading daily loss limit and reset
The limit that closes accounts on ordinary days. Know the reset hour before the first trade, not after the first bad one.
| Firm | Daily loss limit | Reset / basis |
|---|---|---|
| Maven Trading | 2% to 4% | 00:00 UTC |
05 · Consistency
Maven Trading consistency rule
The profit distribution requirement. Check three things: that a number exists, what it is measured on, and the moment it starts to bind.
| Firm | Rule | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Maven Trading | 50% above $5,000 profit; 20% score on instant | Funded stage |
06 · Minimum days
Maven Trading minimum trading days
The required number of active days in the evaluation, and separately before a funded payout. Per phase counts multiply with the number of phases.
| Firm | During the evaluation | Before a funded payout |
|---|---|---|
| Maven Trading | 3 profitable days of 0.5% per phase (2-Step) | 3 profitable days of 0.5% |
07 · Trading rules
Maven Trading news, weekend and automation rules
The permissions that decide whether your method is even possible on this account: releases, weekends and automation.
| Firm | News trading | Weekend holding | EAs and bots |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maven Trading | 2 minutes either side (not on instant accounts) | not published | not published |
08 · Payouts
Maven Trading payout rules and cycle
What the firm promises on withdrawals, and when the clock on your first one actually starts.
| Firm | Processing promise | When you can request |
|---|---|---|
| Maven Trading | Next day after the period ends | Every 10 business days; 3% minimum |
09 · Split
Maven Trading profit split rules
The default split and the route to the advertised maximum. Compare what you receive on the first payout, without buying an upgrade.
| Firm | Default split | How the top split is reached |
|---|---|---|
| Maven Trading | 80% | Mini product 70% |
10 · Sizes
Maven Trading account sizes and scaling rules
Account sizes and the route upward. Buying a mid size account and scaling on a published trigger usually beats buying the largest plan outright.
| Firm | Account sizes | Scaling or total ceiling |
|---|---|---|
| Maven Trading | not published | Up to $1,000,000 after 10% in 4 months |
11 · Platforms
Maven Trading platform rules
Where you will actually be executing. Run the demo before the evaluation, because ten minutes there says more than any comparison table.
| Field | Published figure | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Plans published | One, Two, Three Step, Instant | Published on the plan pages |
| Basis and detail | not published | Ask support and keep the reply |
Not published in a form that can be quoted. Check the platform on the checkout selector before buying.
An unpublished figure is a reserved option. Ask for it, and if the answer does not arrive in writing, price the account as though the rule is strict.
12 · Suitability
Who the Maven Trading rules suit
Traders with small per trade risk and a high trade count, who are comfortable inside narrow limits in exchange for a consistency rule that mostly does not apply.
Match the rule set to your own method rather than to a score. The two fields that decide it for most traders are the consistency rule and whether the maximum loss locks, because those are the two that can end an account you are trading correctly. Everything else is a preference.
13 · Compared
Maven Trading rules compared with Meridian Funded
Two rule sets in the same columns. Meridian Funded sits at the top of this directory because its published constraints are the fewest, which makes the gap in each row easy to read.
| Rule | Meridian Funded | Maven Trading |
|---|---|---|
| Models | 1, 2, 3-Step, Instant, Instant Zero | One, Two, Three Step, Instant |
| Maximum loss | 6% trailing to 10% static; Instant Zero 5% | 3% to 8% |
| Daily loss | 2.5% to 5% | 2% to 4% |
| Consistency | None in evaluation or on Instant Zero | 50% over $5,000 profit |
| Minimum days | 3 per phase; none on Instant Zero | 3 profitable days (Two Step) |
| Profit split | 80% to 90%, up to 100% | 80% |
| Payouts | Within 12h | Every 10 business days |
Read the consistency row and the maximum loss row together. Those two decide whether your method fits inside the account, and they are the two rows where the difference between these firms is largest.
FAQ
Maven Trading rules: frequently asked questions
Does Maven Trading have a consistency rule?
Published position: 50% over $5,000 profit. Read it alongside the payout conditions, because a consistency requirement applied at withdrawal is not a trading rule at all, it is a condition on getting paid for trading you have already done.
What is the maximum drawdown at Maven Trading?
Published figure: 3% to 8%. Convert it into one question: how much can I lose from my worst realistic moment before this account closes. A wide static floor usually answers that better than a narrow trailing one, even though the narrow one looks safer on a comparison page.
What is the daily loss limit at Maven Trading?
Published figure: 2% to 4%. If the reset time is not published, that is a hard breach rule with an undisclosed boundary. Ask support for the time and the timezone, and keep the reply.
How many trading days does Maven Trading require?
Published position: 3 profitable days (Two Step). If you reach the target in two sessions, this rule decides how long you wait afterwards. That waiting period is traded at full risk, which is a cost worth pricing before buying.
How fast does Maven Trading pay out?
Published commitment: Every 10 business days. The useful figure is the date of the first request, not the hours it takes to process. Fourteen days to eligibility and twelve hours to process is slower than three days to eligibility and three days to process.
What is the profit split at Maven Trading?
Published range: 80%. Establish which of the four routes applies: a default rate, a paid add-on, a rate earned over several payouts, or a rate available on request. Only the first is a split, the rest are prices or promises.
