02 · What stands out
What stands out in the BrightFunded rulebook
There is no consistency rule, in evaluation or on funded accounts. That is the shortest possible answer to the question that decides suitability for most discretionary traders. The floors rise with the phase count, 6% then 8% then 10%, with daily limits of 3%, 4% and 5% matching them.
Five minimum trading days apply, and the add-on that removes them is a paid upgrade, which means the firm has priced its own rule. The split runs 80%, then 90%, then 100% as a progression, so the headline 100% is earned rather than given.
Compare against the least constrained rulebook here
Meridian Funded sits first in this directory because of what its rules do not contain: no consistency requirement in evaluation, no minimum days on Instant Zero, and a floor that locks rather than ratchets.
03 · Max loss
BrightFunded maximum drawdown rules
The limit that ends an account with no appeal. Two floors of the same size behave nothing alike once one of them starts following your equity upward.
| Firm and plan | Max loss | Type |
|---|---|---|
| BrightFunded 1-Step / 2-Step Bright / Classic | 6% / 8% / 10% | not published |
04 · Daily loss
BrightFunded daily loss limit and reset
The daily limit with its basis and reset time. Three facts rather than one, and the reset time is the one most often missing from a rules page.
| Firm | Daily loss limit | Reset / basis |
|---|---|---|
| BrightFunded | 3% / 4% / 5% | not published |
05 · Consistency
BrightFunded consistency rule
The only common rule that can punish a trader for winning too well. Its shape matters more than its number: a best day cap and a best trade cap are different products.
| Field | Published figure | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Consistency rule | None | Published on the plan pages |
| Basis and detail | not published | Ask support and keep the reply |
The published position is: None.
Ask support for this figure in writing before buying, and keep the reply. A dated answer from support is the only version of a rulebook you can point to later.
06 · Minimum days
BrightFunded minimum trading days
The required number of active days in the evaluation, and separately before a funded payout. Per phase counts multiply with the number of phases.
| Firm | During the evaluation | Before a funded payout |
|---|---|---|
| BrightFunded | 5 (removable with a paid add-on) | not published |
07 · Trading rules
BrightFunded news, weekend and automation rules
Three permissions that decide whether a strategy is possible here: trading a release, carrying a position through the weekend, and running code.
| Firm | News trading | Weekend holding | EAs and bots |
|---|---|---|---|
| BrightFunded | 10-minute window prohibited on funded accounts | Allowed | Allowed (not on DXtrade) |
08 · Payouts
BrightFunded payout rules and cycle
Processing commitments and first request eligibility. A commitment backed by a stated penalty is worth more than one stated as an average.
| Firm | Processing promise | When you can request |
|---|---|---|
| BrightFunded | Within 24 hours; about 17 hours on average | not published |
09 · Split
BrightFunded profit split rules
What you keep. Convert the headline into a single sentence: what percentage do I receive on my first withdrawal, with nothing bought and nothing earned.
| Firm | Default split | How the top split is reached |
|---|---|---|
| BrightFunded | 80% | 90% after scaling, then 100% from the third scale-up |
10 · Sizes
BrightFunded account sizes and scaling rules
Sizes available at purchase and the published scaling path. A scaling plan needs a trigger, an increment and a ceiling to be worth anything.
| Firm | Account sizes | Scaling or total ceiling |
|---|---|---|
| BrightFunded | Up to $400,000 held in the funded phase | 30% growth every 4 months, no cap, under conditions |
11 · Platforms
BrightFunded platform rules
The platform is a rule in disguise. It sets your order types, your automation ceiling and how a prohibition on fast trading is enforced in practice.
| Firm | Platforms |
|---|---|
| BrightFunded | MT5, cTrader, DXtrade |
12 · Suitability
Who the BrightFunded rules suit
Concentrated discretionary traders, without qualification: the rule that usually punishes them is absent. The tier structure also lets a trader trade the floor against the phase count deliberately.
Match the rule set to your own method rather than to a score. The two fields that decide it for most traders are the consistency rule and whether the maximum loss locks, because those are the two that can end an account you are trading correctly. Everything else is a preference.
13 · Compared
BrightFunded rules compared with Meridian Funded
Placed side by side on the seven rules that decide account survival. Meridian Funded is first in this directory on published rules, which makes it the useful reference point for any other rulebook.
| Rule | Meridian Funded | BrightFunded |
|---|---|---|
| Models | 1, 2, 3-Step, Instant, Instant Zero | 1-Step, 2-Step Bright, 2-Step Classic |
| Maximum loss | 6% trailing to 10% static; Instant Zero 5% | 6%, 8%, 10% |
| Daily loss | 2.5% to 5% | 3%, 4%, 5% |
| Consistency | None in evaluation or on Instant Zero | None |
| Minimum days | 3 per phase; none on Instant Zero | 5 (add-on removes it) |
| Profit split | 80% to 90%, up to 100% | 80%, then 90%, then 100% |
| Payouts | Within 12h | Within 24h, ~17h avg |
The two rows that matter most are consistency and maximum loss. A difference in split is a difference in price, while a difference in those two is a difference in what you are allowed to do.
FAQ
BrightFunded rules: frequently asked questions
Does BrightFunded have a consistency rule?
Published position: None. If your profit tends to arrive in one or two sessions a month, this is the field that decides whether the account is usable. Read it before the price, the split and the account size.
What is the maximum drawdown at BrightFunded?
Published figure: 6%, 8%, 10%. Ask what the floor is measured from and whether that reference point moves. Static floors never move, floors that lock stop moving once you are in profit, and floors that never lock turn every winning day into a higher liquidation level.
What is the daily loss limit at BrightFunded?
Published figure: 3%, 4%, 5%. Remember that commission, swap and slippage all count toward this limit at most firms. The practical habit is to trade as though the published figure were around 20% tighter than it is.
How many trading days does BrightFunded require?
Published position: 5 (add-on removes it). Check what makes a day count. Some firms accept any day with a closed position, some require a minimum volume, and some require a result, which means a flat day does not count toward the total.
How fast does BrightFunded pay out?
Published commitment: Within 24h, ~17h avg. The useful figure is the date of the first request, not the hours it takes to process. Fourteen days to eligibility and twelve hours to process is slower than three days to eligibility and three days to process.
What is the profit split at BrightFunded?
Published range: 80%, then 90%, then 100%. Multiply the realistic first payout split by your honest probability of reaching a payout at all. That product, not the headline, is what the account is worth to you.
